Terms & Conditions

1. Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. My prices are estimates and may change depending on your dog's size, coat condition, temperament, age, mobility, or any extra time and care required. Any price adjustments are at my discretion, and I'll always do my best to keep you informed.

2. Cancellations

I completely understand plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible - cancellations within 48 hours incur 50% of the appointment fee, and within 24 hours incur 100%. If you're running late on the day, let me know as soon as you can; I'll do my best to accommodate you, but if you're more than 15 minutes late your appointment may need to be rescheduled to keep the day running on time, and charges may apply.

3. Parking & access

For the van to visit, I need safe, legal parking as close to your property as possible, access to an electrical supply (I bring a 25-metre extension cable), and a fairly level space - a slight slope is fine, just nothing too steep. If I can't connect to power on the day, I'll need to reschedule your booking.

4. Fleas, ticks & matting

If fleas or ticks are found, a treatment will be administered and an extra charge will apply - treating your dog beforehand is recommended. If your dog's coat is very matted, a clip-down or shave-down may be needed; this can occasionally cause skin irritation on tightly knotted coats, and extra fees may apply where a lot of additional time and care is required.

5. Health, safety & nervous dogs

I'll always do my very best to care for your dog as if they were my own, with kindness, patience and professionalism. I can't be held responsible for any pre-existing health conditions, skin issues, or injuries that may be aggravated or come to light during or after grooming. If your dog is elderly, nervous, or has medical concerns, I'll take extra care, but I can't guarantee grooming will be completely risk-free - and in rare cases where a dog becomes highly stressed or aggressive, I may need to stop the groom for their welfare and my own safety. Any vet treatment required as a result of grooming remains the owner's responsibility.

6. Data protection

Your privacy matters. Any personal information you provide is kept secure and used only for my services - I never share your details with third parties unless required by law.
